Bear Buns Bakery near St Columba Catholic Church

Posted in All, Here & There, Out & About in San Diego, Un Jour de Cafe by Jini on January 13, 2013

A neat cafe that opened up near the St Columba Catholic church. Bear Buns Bakery. It’s very clean, variety of storemade patries are always available, and staff are very kind. I hardly drink coffee nor eat bread these days, but every time I come to church I try to stop by here.

Apple pie. I’ve never seen such fat and juicy apple slices in a pie! It was also on special for $1.50 a slide.

That gave me an idea… How about sell the last night’s pastry at half off? Maybe until 8am or something. I know stores do this already but it’s usually very unpopular breads. It would serve as a condolence to those who wake up very early for work. Hehe.
