One language a month … With Food! awesome! ^^

I will think about where you can meet someone that speaks Indonesian/Malaysian here. They are mutually understandable usually. But don’t say that to them! National pride you know.

Maybe I can hook you up with my long time friend Anggi Jenie? ( another “Jini” ^^)
She knows Bahasa Indonesia, French and excellent English from college in NYC and Boston. Very nice lady! She currently works for the Indonesian Foreign Service and is off taking a Mandarin class in China right now. She is a “artsy” type at heart!

Music wise, the singer Anguun is just too great! She sings in Indonesian, French and English. You might know her from the song “Snow On The Sahara”

On The Breath of An Angel

    Wherever I go
    Whatever I see
    Over oceans unknown
    You are always with me

    Pure as the water
    We float on this wave
On the breath of an angel
    I’ll fly away
    ….
    Di semua bahasa
    Semua warna
    Kupahami kata
    Yang kau ukir indah

    Nyani beku angin
    Cairkan sengat surya
    Di relung hatiku
    Bernyanyi bidadari

    Wherever I go
    Whatever I see
    Over oceans unknown
    You are always with me
